VOLKSWAGEN MK V GTI SPEAKER ADAPTERS (PAIR)

Description

These vehicles come from the factory with 4″ and 8″ speakers in each door. To install a new pair of component or coaxial speakers, a set of mounting plates are required. These plates are made from three layers of PVC, precision cut by routers to the size of the factory speaker mounts. The hole for an aftermarket speaker is large enough to accommodate popular large frame 6.5″ speakers. These plates are 2″ thick overall, and allow for a 3″ total mounting depth, the same as the factory 7″ woofer. The plates are painted flat black to not draw attention through the factory grille. If you need a specific cutout diameter, please let us know, its no problem.
